Their’s is a strong kind of love. It’s stood the test of distance and of times when they weren’t near enough to entwine their fingers or hug the other after a long day. It’s lasted over a decade and only strengthened with each year that’s passed, withstood different continents and new career paths and the change from high school sweethearts to husband and wife. And watching them stand beneath the huppah that day, with so many years of history behind them and an incomprehensible amount of amazing adventures ahead, you couldn’t help but cry right along with them. Simply out of pure happiness that two hearts who were so completely and utterly connected, who had come so far to get here, would be together for the rest of their days . . . .

Stephanie and Jake are married! And OH GOODNESS friends, what a wedding this was! We died from the first moment we stepped inside the gorgeous Powell Crosley Estate and were presented with some seriously killer details, and things only went up from there! Citrus Press Co knocked it out of the park with the most beautiful floral invite suite and coordinating paper goods, which perfectly matched the flowers scattered everywhere throughout the wedding decor. And Stephanie’s sparkly bow-tied heels were the things dreams are made of (or at least Sarah’s dreams ; ). They were the perfect finishing touch to an already stunning bridal look (which included the most perfect, whimsical up-do with lavender touches). We joked with Stephanie that she seriously looked like she could have fallen asleep in a Disney forest and the birds could have lovingly placed the flowers in her hair, because she just looked EVERY bit the part of a Disney princess. Only better.

In fact, the entire bridal party was just a dream to photograph, with Jake looking so very handsome in a classic suit (with some fun touches like his floral patterned tie) and the girls in timeless JCrew dresses. Every single one of them was totally willing to venture out into the rain, which allowed us to get some awesome shots on the grounds of the estate. And then we got to the reception, and the dream we were living in all day only got better because it was the most gorgeous of garden parties. There were warm string lights throughout the tent, an ice cream bar instead of traditional cake, and a mix of centerpieces. FH Weddings just KILLED the floral design though out this day, and every single detail couldn’t have come together any better.

Stephanie and Jake, thank you for the incredible honor of documenting your best day ever. We absolutely meant it when we told you two how easy you made our job, and how lucky we felt to bear witness to your love. We just adore you two to bits and hope you love this peek into your amazing wedding day!
