They held onto each other for just a little longer after he had just laid eyes on her for the first time that day. And she couldn’t contain the widest of smiles. The kind that shone through her eyes. And there, beneath the trees, they drifted between laughing like friends and cuddling like soulmates. Because their hearts had already made the promise their words would later that day . . .

Anne and Nick tied the knot! Anne got ready in her childhood home before sharing a first look with Nick out on the backyard patio. Afterwards, the two of them were married in a traditional church ceremony. And the excitement in the air as they saw each other for the first time that day was palpable. It left us feeling so lucky to be the ones to witness it all. After the ceremony everyone headed to the stunning Oxford Exchange wedding reception. The space was impeccably decorated as always and we loved all of their decor choices. After an amazing party the newlyweds excited through a tunnel of streamers. Because what could possibly be better?
We adored the palette of dusty pastels that made up this day. And most especially how it shone through in the bridesmaids’ mixed attire. Anne rocked an absolutely stunning dress with a delicate overlay. Nick and his guys kept their look timeless and classic with fitted suits and skinny ties. And in honor of Anne’s job as a wine rep, bottles with custom calligraphy were used for the seating chart and table numbers. Similarly, in leu of a traditional guest book, the guests left note tags on bottles fitted with labels marking milestone anniversaries. So cute!
We loved so much about his day, from the sweet bride and groom to their amazing family and friends to the ridiculously perfect venue. But the thing we adored most was the feeling of this day. It simply felt like a day about the most genuine of loves, and above all that is what a wedding day is all about.
Anne + Nick, thank you both so very much for such a fun day! We felt incredibly honored to be the ones to document every joy-filled minute (including your amazing Oxford Exchange wedding reception!) and in short we wish we could do it all over again!
