They held hands and walked to into the next room of the exhibit. Masterpieces filled the walls around them, just as the memories that had come before this one filled their minds. This was a moment that had been years in the making, but was one so perfect it could never have been planned. There, alone in a hallway that had been filled with all of their favorite faces just moments before, they wandered alone between the works of art, officially husband and wife . . . . .

Rachel and Cary are married! On a slightly blustery Sunday in January these two gathered in St. Pete with all of their nearest and dearest, for a wedding day that maaaay just be one of the most epic dance parties we’ve been to in quite some time. But we’ll get to that part in a bit ; ) After getting ready with their families and a few close friends, these two met in the park for a first look followed by some seriously gorgeous portraits. Cary looked incredibly dapper in a navy suit with a black lapel, and Rachel was radiant in a lace-detailed sweetheart neckline gown. There was so many naturally adorable moments between these two, and that combined with the way they are constantly laughing with one another made shooting with them preeeeeeetttty darn easy.
Before the ceremony, the soon-to-be newlyweds signed the ketubah (which was hand painted and so pretty!) while guests enjoyed a champagne welcome in the garden. And then after all the formalities of the day the two newlyweds got to share a private moment alone, before we ventured into the galleries of the museum for some seriously fun portraits! The reception was stunning, with floral centerpieces and warm uplights adding to the already beautiful museum ballroom. Guests were treated to an entire cake buffet, with some of our favorite flavors of Wright’s cakes accenting the already giant wedding cake (because in the true S&B belief, you can NEVER have too much cake ; ) And once they had fueled up with dinner and dessert, everyone took to the dance floor and the party began. We loved the energy of their reception, not only because the dance floor was packed thanks to Inpulse Entertainment (seriously, there is something about live musicians that MAKES a party), but because everyone there so clearly adored Rachel and Cary. It truly felt like a celebration of all the years that had brought them to this day.
Rachel and Cary, thank you for such an incredible day! We had the absolute best time with you both and couldn’t have been more humbled to be the ones by your sides.
Love + Laughs,
