Mision Lago Wedding: Kristin + Marcos

I asked the two of them to stand together at the top of the hill. But instead he stepped in for a moment, adjusted her veil, and backed up to admire his bride. “Let’s just save this” he said, as he looked on in adoration. So we both stood there together for a moment. I photographed his bride and he beamed proudly, and a moment in time was saved. And things like that are all you really need to know about these two. They are simply so sincere, and so genuinely infatuated with one another, that spending time in their presence leaves you absolutely positive that their’s is one of those lifetime kind of loves. . . . .

Kristin and Marcos are married! In a Mision Lago wedding day we simply couldn’t have adored any more, the two of them tied the knot and then had the most epic of receptions to follow. Kristin put on a gorgeous gown with a stunning neckline before heading out to meet Marcos for their first look and vow exchange. The first look was an insanely sweet moment, but the vow exchange was a straight up heart explosion that left us struggling not to tear up right along with them. These two are just perfect for each other, and watching them make promises to one another as the sunlight fell through the trees felt like something straight out of the best of movies.

The ceremony was held at the front gate of Mision Lago, with Kristin getting to make the grandest of entrances as it slowly opened for all the guests to get their first look at her. And after some heartfelt traditions like the warming of the rings and the exchange of las arras (the wedding coins)  the two of them came back up the aisle to cheers and tossed petals. The Mision Lago Estate was such a stunning backdrop for all of their portraits, and we loved zipping around to all the highlights on the cutest little golf cart. The light was glowy, even Marcos couldn’t help stealing the camera to snap a picture or two of his bride. 

After a cocktail hour overlooking the vineyard, guests headed to the reception for dinner. There they found tables sprinkled around the courtyard beneath the picturesque string lights, and between their glow and the couple at the center of it all, the entire evening had such an incredible feeling of warmth. Once the toasts and dinner service had ended, everyone headed into the barn to celebrate. DJ Kenwa created the most epic party vibe, and we loved that everyone was immediately on the dance floor with mini desserts in hand. 

Kristin and Marcos, from our very first meeting we have just adored everything about you two. You are some of the kindest, most welcoming, genuine human beings we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know and we feel so lucky to have documented your seriously perfect Mision Lago wedding. Hope you love these sneaks as much as we do!
