They sat in the middle of the courtyard. At a table set just for two, and in front of a glowing fireplace, they cozied up beneath the warm glow of the string lights and listened. Speeches were given in their honor and glasses were raised in toasts, and although the words that were spoken in each toast were different, one thing was consistent. Each and every person held the microphone that night, speaking of how perfect the two of them were for each other. Because above all, they valued nothing more than family, which made it all the more special that their’s became one that day . . . .

Katie + Scott are married! They had a lovely ceremony on the lawn of the Palmetto Riverside Bed & Breakfast before a warmly-lit outdoor reception. The two of them picked the absolute BEST day to get married this year, because we were finally blessed with a bit of winter weather and every bit of the day was just gorgeous! After writing each other letters and then sharing a first look surrounded by their family (which was just the sweetest) they shared self-written vows and then headed to a bit of their cocktail hour before finishing up with some seriously stunning golden hour portraits.
The reception was filled with a mix of high and low centerpieces, and the newlyweds dined in front of the most charming fireplace to keep them warm. And speaking of dining, we absolutely would not do this wedding day justice if we didn’t talk about how ridiculously amazing all of the food throughout their themed stations was (serious shout out to Morton’s!). After dinner everyone hopped on the dance floor for an awesome dance party before ending the night with a sparkler send-off!
