Time really does fly! It feels like just yesterday I was capturing Henry’s sleepy newborn moments, and now here we are, celebrating his first birthday with the most adorable cake smash. This Tampa baby photography session was the perfect way to wrap up his one-year photo journey, and what a finale it was! From heartwarming family moments to frosting-filled giggles, it was pure joy from start to finish.
We started the session with playful family portraits, and oh my goodness—Henry’s big sister was a star in her own right. She brought all the big sister love, from sweet hugs to showing off her fun personality. Watching her grow into this role over the past year has been such a treat, and seeing her dote on her little brother made every photo extra special.
Then came the highlight of the day: the cake smash. Henry wasted no time diving in, and let’s just say, he did it in style! Frosting in his hair? Check. Cake between his toes? Double check. His reactions were absolutely priceless—curious at first, then completely over-the-moon delighted. Every sticky, frosting-covered moment was a celebration of his first year, and those giggles were pure magic.
There’s something so special about these messy, joy-filled moments. They’re the kind that families will look back on with laughter and love for years to come. And while the cleanup afterward was a bit of an adventure (frosting found its way everywhere), it was 100% worth it.
