fort desoto engagement: joanna + adam

Back in 2013 we were lucky enough to document Bethany and Jeremy’s big day, and it was that day that we first met Bethany’s sister Joanna. We had an amazing day with their family that touched our hearts in SO many ways, and so we were thrilled when we got the email from Joanna that she was now getting married and wanted to include us in her and Adam’s wedding! (Because not only are these two super sweet, but they are getting married at one of our most FAVORITE venues out there, Cross Creek Ranch.)

We met the two of them at Fort DeSoto, which is Adam’s favorite beach in the area and also a spot they both have tons of memories at, and we had so much fun wandering around all of the nature trails and the fort. We saw just a few snakes, a bit of history, and by the end of it were feeling like true explorers. And can we talk about the gorgeous sunset light at the beach?! We ended up shooting just a bit longer than planned because we just couldn’t get enough of these two in the warm halo of sunset.

Joanna + Adam, hope you enjoy a few of our favorites! Thank you two for a wonderful afternoon of exploring (and just a little rule breaking ; ) We had so much fun with you guys, and can’t wait to see you next month for the big day!
