These two New Yorkers brought all their favorite people down to Mexico for a weekend that felt like a dream vacation and the party of a lifetime rolled into one. Their vision? A wedding that was bold, beautiful, and unapologetically fun. What came to life was all that—and then some.
The day kicked off with Nick hanging out at the resort’s golf simulator with his crew—a laid-back, laugh-filled morning that set the tone perfectly. Meanwhile, Kristin and her girls were getting ready with ocean views and all the good vibes. Her bridesmaids wore the dreamiest mix of patterned and solid sunset tones, while the groomsmen showed up tropical-chic in linen suits with pops of color in their boutonnieres. Every detail echoed the relaxed, festive feel of the day.
After some seriously stunning pre-ceremony portraits, the ceremony took place in a cliffside gazebo overlooking the turquoise water. A tropical breeze floated through the air, and there was just as much laughter as there were happy tears. Kristin and Nick said “I do” surrounded by their favorite people in a ceremony that had everyone smiling.
During cocktail hour, guests sipped drinks to the sounds of a live mariachi band before heading up to the rooftop reception deck. With glowing string lights overhead and golden hour light bouncing off every surface, the whole space looked like magic. After a grand entrance (that ended with bridal party shots on the dance floor, as one does), Kristin and Nick had their first dance. We loved every second of it—but that movie-worthy lift at the end? With cold sparks flying? Straight out of a rom-com in the best way.
After dinner, heartfelt toasts, and a few sweet parent dances, the party really got going. A surprise hora loca brought in dancers, stilt-walkers, CO2 cannons, and more high-energy chaos than we even knew we needed. Just when it felt like the night couldn’t get any better, fireworks exploded over the ocean while Kristin and Nick soaked in one last magical moment.
Kristin and Nick, your wedding was electric in the best way. Playful, heartfelt, and joy-filled from start to finish—just like the two of you. We’re so grateful to have been your destination wedding photographers, and we’ll be smiling about this one for a long, long time.
