They had stood in this spot almost six years ago. But that day she had not been the one in white, and he hadn’t yet made her laugh in the way so easy to her now. An adventure had started that night, beginning with a silly line and evolving into a truly great love that would only strengthen with the distance and time their story would bring.
Now they were back. This time she wore white and he twirled her beneath his arm as they both wore giant smiles and eyes that sparkled from the string lights above. They were married. And in the very same spot that their story had begun, they set out to write it’s greatest chapter yet . . . .

Shannon and Joe are married! The two of them had a fun-filled wedding reception at the Country Club of Orlando after a ceremony at the oh-so-gorgeous St. James Cathedral Church. The two of them opted out of having a bridal party, and Shannon spent a quiet morning getting ready with her parents (which we thought was just the sweetest). And speaking of getting ready, the dress she put on before heading off to the church to meet Joe was so insanely stunning, and had a train that we had never seen anything like before. It was so airy and whimsical, and Joe sported the biggest smile as he got to see her in it for the first time that day.
The reception was not only gorgeous, but was so incredibly special because it was at the same location the two of them had first met. (Is that not the most romantic thing ever?!) And the decor was a dream, with the entire room feeling like an intimate garden party that had been brought inside. The head table was surrounded by a trellis of greenery and flowers, and a mix of floral accented high and low centerpieces filled the tables along with candles. Between the glow of the candles to the light from the string lights surrounding the dance floor, the entire room had such a warm feel and was the perfect setting for the epic dance party that ensued. To keep guests energized between the fabulous songs of the Matt Winter Band, Shannon and Joe shared an ice cream bar and a late night snack of grilled cheese sandwiches with their guests. And at the end of it all the two of them ran out through a tunnel of bells before hopping in their getaway car.
Shannon and Joe, we couldn’t have loved this day with you both any more, and feel so lucky to have been a part of it!
Love + Laughs,
Sarah & Ben
