You could tell the doors had opened solely by looking at his face. In an instant his expression had turned from the normal, excited smile he had worn all morning to something more. Something deeper. There was a glint of a tear in his eye and a pure, unfiltered love in his smile that radiated so fiercely it filled the entire chapel with it’s warmth. And it only seemed to grow with each step she took toward him, as his bride walked up the aisle to say “I Do” . . . .

Brittany + Josh are married! They had a sweet ceremony at a charming little chapel followed by some beach portraits and a reception at the Don Cesar. We loved the timeless cut of Brittany’s Maggie Sottero wedding gown, and the fact that she paired it with a pair of bow-tipped Kate Spade heels (is there anything more perfect?! Sarah thinks not!) The bridesmaids wore contrasting dresses in an oh-so-perfect for winter shade, and Josh and all his groomsman kept things classic in bow-ties and dark tuxes. Josh surprised Brittany with a locket before the ceremony, and we couldn’t help but adore the teeny-tiny pictures he filled it with from their engagement session or the adorable engraving on the outside. And speaking of things that were adorable, Josh had the absolute BEST reaction to seeing Brittany for the first time that day (because she just looked THAT good!) It was so sweet to watch them see each other for the first time as she made her way up the aisle.
The reception was full of surprises, from a saber being used to open the night’s first bottle of champagne, to a chicken dance (with an actual, human-sized chicken), to the fact that the couple shared their last dance in a ballroom all to themselves (which was just about the most romantic thing EVER). Afterwards, the two of them headed downstairs to end the night with a grand sparkler send-off that was just perfect in every way.
Brittany + Josh, we wish you both so much love + happiness as you embark on this new adventure together!
