They sat on the swing together, looking at the party that had begun in the distance. All of their favorite faces mingling and raising glasses, toasting the two of them and the promises they had made moments ago. They were finally married. She leaned into him like she probably had a thousand times before, whether at home on the sofa or in a tent in the wilderness. And he held her close just like always. She said “I could sit here forever” and he said “me too” and for just a moment that’s what they did. Sitting in silence, content just to “be”, and knowing that no matter what life brought their way, sitting just like this together would always be enough . . .

Jamie and Ben are married! After their epic Hillsborough River State Park engagement session we have been SO excited for their wedding day to arrive, and every bit of this perfect day was most definitely worth the wait! Jamie looked radiant in her stunning gown and cathedral veil, and Ben was her perfect match in a timeless grey suit (we know we’ve said this a MILLION times, but there’s just nothing like a well fitting suit!) The two of them shared a private moment before the ceremony, where they read their vows and talked for the first time that day. It was so sweet to listen to their promises to each other, and only made the words they later spoke at their ceremony so much more meaningful.

After the ceremony guests mingled with cocktails, and were able to play lawn games while the newlyweds cuddled up among the greenery. We literally could have shot with these two for HOURS, but alas the sun went down and the dance floor beckoned so we headed inside to kick off their party! Blush linens complemented the bridal party decor and flowers found throughout the day, and a cake decked out in gold leaf detailing was a beautiful centerpiece for the room. For favors, guests were treated to a candy bar, that included custom bags and stickers inspired by one of their engagement photos. (Yes, we totally had a nerdy moment swooning over one of our images being immortalized in sticker form! ; ) And at the end of the night we snuck out for some dreamy night shots, before guests lined up to create a sparkler tunnel for the newlyweds. Every minute of this day was so insanely romantic, and documenting it was just plain good for our hearts.

Jamie and Ben, we hope you know just how much we’ve adored our time with you both! We know this next chapter of your story is going to be the best one yet!
