Happy Monday friends! We have been waiting aaaallll weekend for today to get here, because we get to continue the party we started on Friday with Michelle + Andy’s oh-so-epic Floridan Palace wedding day. And if you think all the pretty stopped when the day ended, prepare to have your mind BLOWN, because the two of them opted to have an evening ceremony sans first look and the four of us got together the very next day to rock out all of their portraits. These two newlyweds get aaaallll the bonus stars, not only because (after celebrating till the wee hours of the morning) they looked every bit as perfect as they had the day before, but because they were total champs on one of the chilliest and windiest days we’ve had this winter. AND they did it in the middle of a city of football madness, with people (and buses and police escorts) EVERYWHERE for the National Championship game. But you would never have known any of that was going on simply by looking at them, because they were so wrapped up in each other it didn’t matter what the rest of the world was like.
This was our first time doing portraits like this, and we honestly couldn’t have loved them any more. There was something so special about knowing that we were documenting their very FIRST day as married couple, and we just loved the idea that 50 years from now they will have pictures that remind them what it felt like to wake up and finally be husband and wife. Is there anything sweeter?!
Michelle and Andy, we couldn’t have adored this entire weekend with you guys any more, and we felt so very lucky to be a part of every minute of it!
Love + Laughs,
Sarah & Ben
