We love every single one of our couples and all the time we get to spend with them in front of our cameras oh so very much. But every once in awhile, someone comes along with a dream for a session that is just a little different, and it really lights a spark in our creative little hearts. This afternoon with Alexa and Kevin was most definitely one of those sessions! When Alexa told us about her vision for their shoot, we were instantly smitten. She wanted it to feel like they had escaped down to the beach from a really fancy party to enjoy some time (and wine!) alone, and we knew just the place to shoot it! So after we started the first half of our afternoon in a greenery-filled park, we escaped to a dreamy little nearby beach to wrap up the night.
Everything about this session was so much fun to photograph, and both of them were absolute troopers braving the stump-filled minefield path out to the location. But once we got out there the two of them cuddled so very sweetly one minute and smized like pros the next (even as a full-on lightning storm moved in on us!) Alexa wore the most stunning beaded gown, and Kevin rocked his casual suit oh so effortlessly. Every minute of it was just perfection and we couldn’t have loved a bit of it any more!
Alexa and Kevin, thank you guys SO much for trusting us to document this time in your lives! We had a blast making your vision for this shoot come to life and hope you love every one of these as much as we do!
