They laugh together. Like a lot. That day they smiled through laughs as they first saw each other, and they held hands a little tighter as they laughed throughout their ceremony. They laughed as they sat side-by-side at their reception, and as he spun her around the dance floor that night. And after this day, no matter what may come there way, I’m certain they will weather it just fine. Because, when they’re together, they laugh.

Katherine + Joe are married! They traveled from Texas for a beachy ceremony at Sand Key Park before a reception at the Marriott. After their awesome Tampa engagement session we were so excited for their big day, and it most definitely met every expectation we had. These two are the kind of people who are just so much fun to be around, not only because they are insanely sweet and funny but because their love is such a fun thing to watch. They are so incredibly smitten just to be in each other’s presence that shooting them is just about the easiest job in the world!
We loved how personal their wedding felt, with Joe’s brother-in-law performing the ceremony and some awesome speeches/musical performances at the reception! Katherine’s Maid of Honor performed a pretty spectacular rap set to the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme, and then her brother gave one of the sweetest and most heartfelt speeches ever. They entire day was the absolute perfect mix of love + laughter and we were so beyond happy to be a part of it.
Kat + Joe, we had so much fun with you all and are so bummed this day is over! Next time you are back in Florida you know we want a dinner date!
