He turned around to see her for the first time that day, and without saying a word he kissed her hand. Not for the photo op or because anyone asked him to, but simply because that’s how he loves her. So easily. In the kind of classic way, usually reserved for black and white movies or children’s tales. Their’s is a love story meant for a storybook, and that day it got the fairytale celebration it deserved . . . .

Ravin and Melina are married, and oh what a wedding day this was! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding to serve as our last one of the year, because this one had aaaaalllll the storybook details you know we’re all about! Melina wore a beautiful gown (that could have been straight off of our favorite Disney princesses!) which popped against the greenery of the courtyard where she and Ravin shared their first look. And after some portraits around the seriously stunning scenery of the Kapok the two of them headed inside for their second wedding ceremony that week. (Sidenote, if you missed their traditional Hindu ceremony you better go check it out HERE!) Before Melina walked down the aisle the curtains at the end of it closed, and her silhouette appeared to announce her presence. We’re pretty sure the only place we had ever seen anything like this was in the movies, and it was impossible not to get goosebumps!
After some cocktails guests entered the reception space, which was filled with so much gorgeous decor that was beautifully accented by the architecture of the Kapok. The head table was decked out with the most amazing chair for the newlyweds (seriously still figuring out how we can squeeze one of those into our house ; ) and before taking their seats for the night the two of them shared a first dance beneath the grand chandelier. We adored so much of this day, and the perfect finale was getting to sneak outside for some night shots that we couldn’t love any more.
Melina and Ravin, thank you for including us in your fairytale! We loved being the ones do document it all and we hope you love these as much as we loved making them!
