armature works wedding: alicia + josh

It rained that day, but their’s was a day that glowed with warmth. It was in their smiles and their eyes and the way they laughed as he twirled her around the dance floor. And a love like that, the kind where you bring your own sunshine wherever you go, is the kind that will last a lifetime. Because as they journey through life and the rainy days come their way, their love will be the only umbrella they’ll need.

Alicia and Josh are married! They had a gorgeous black tie wedding day with pops of gold throughout, that made the day feel both fun and timeless. Before putting on her Allure Bridal wedding gown (which was just PERFECT for her!), Alicia donned a gold dress to match her bridesmaids for a few photos – a fun touch that we had never seen before! But as good as she looked in that dress, she looked even BETTER in her gown and veil, which was the same one her mom wore on her own wedding day. Josh looked incredibly handsome in a fitted tux, that included a fun homage to their pups Ellie and Reese with some playful socks.

Each of their brother’s served as their man of honor/best man, which made watching them share their vows even sweeter, as their brothers wiped away tears along with them. And even though the day had been insanely rainy right up to the ceremony (thanks Alberto!), the skies dried up for a bit as soon as they said their vows and we got to sneak out for some portraits. When it was time to head upstairs to the reception, guests were greeted with tables that included cupcake centerpieces instead of flowers (which if you know Sarah you know is basically her DREAM) and whimsical details like balloon letters and custom figurines of the fur babies (in black and gold tutus of course ; ) And when the newlyweds entered the room, they shared a first dance that felt so genuine and playful we couldn’t help but get all the feels. It was one of those real life moments that feels like it was taken straight out of a movie, and we couldn’t have adored it any more.

Alicia and Josh, thank you not only for including us in your best day ever but for making us feel like such an exceptionally important part of it! We loved every minute of this time with you both and can’t wait to see you again soon!

Love + Laughs,

Sarah & Ben
