The two of them stood back to back. The breeze blew and he could see the tiniest glimpse of her white train if he looked down at his feet. Their hands exchanged letters and as their eyes each scanned the lines of familiar handwriting their hearts exchanged words. They would make vows to each other in just a short while, in front of their closest family and friends, but these, these words were just for them . . . . . . . . .

Katy and Mike are married! The two of them became Mr. and Mrs. in a beautiful sun-filled ceremony at the Powel Crosley Estate before a night of dancing under the stars. Katy wore a seriously stunning gown with a sheer bodice and the most perfectly timeless hairstyle. (We’re pretty sure she could have gone to the very best of Gatsby parties and fit right in ; ) After getting ready, Katy shared the sweetest first look with her dad (who may have one of our favorite dad reactions to date) followed by her bridesmaids. And then, there was only one person left to see her, so she headed out the door for a letter exchange and first look with Mike. Mike looked oh-so-dapper as he stood waiting outside for his bride, and when he finally got to lay eyes on her, the shout he let out was basically the best thing ever.

After the ceremony the newlyweds were surprised with a cameo by their sweet pup Cooper, who you may remember from their adorable South Tampa engagement session. So we took a quick puppy-cuddle pit stop (plus a cocktail or two!) and then headed out for golden hour portraits. Guys, all we can say is the LIIIIIGGGHT. These two were blessed with some gorgeously glowy skies (and the most amazing floral-filled tree) and we pretty much could have just skipped the reception and shot portraits forever. But the sun eventually went down, and before heading in to the party we all paused for a minute for these two to see their first sunset together as husband and wife. It was such a perfect moment to watch them cuddle up together as the warm sunlight left and the sky turned orange over the water.

Katy and Mike, we have obviously already told you a million times but we just love you two to bits. Thank you for such an insanely perfect day, and for making us feel like such a special part of it. See you guys soon!
