Happy LABOR day friends! See what we did there?! No? You’ll get the pun in a minute ; )
Things have been a little quiet around these parts over the last few weeks, as we have been preparing for the arrival of Our Greatest Adventure to come in September. But this past Wednesday we were taught the first of many life lessons we know he’ll send our way, and were surprised to meet him a few weeks earlier than expected. And now that he’s here, we honestly can’t imagine having gone another day without him. The days since his birthday have been filled with visits from our closest family and friends, and we’ve loved getting to truly soak in every perfect, intimate minute. But we also know that so many of you have followed along on our 3 1/2 year journey to become parents, and we’re so happy to get to introduce him to you now as well.
World, meet Oliver Edwin McLachlan.
He’s OBVIOUSLY inherited our punny sense of humor, since he insisted on being here for Labor Day, and we’re preeeeetty sure he may just be the most handsome baby to ever enter the world. But most importantly, he’s filled a place in our hearts and our lives that we didn’t even know we were waiting for.
We’ll definitely be sharing so much more to come of him and this oh-so-insanely-beautiful new life unfolds, but for now we’re going to take some time away to enjoy every amazing minute.
