florida state fair engagement: megan + cary

When we first met Megan and Cary, it was basically the friendship equivalent of love at first sight. Within the first 20 minutes of our consult we were all making terrible jokes and laughing at far too much graphic imagery of Ben and Cary getting together for a dudeoir session (yes, this should totally be a thing!) and by the time we left we got in the car knowing we desperately wanted to be a part of their big day just so we could hang out again! Because finding people who genuinely laugh at every single one of our absolutely terrible jokes is just plain RARE.

Needless to say we are the lucky ones who get to document their October wedding day at Cross Creek Ranch later this year, and the four of us got together for their engagement session to celebrate! We started at Plant High School, where the two of them first met so many years ago, and finished at the Florida State Fair where we played some games, rode some rides, and of course had a snack or two! Ben kept referencing Grease (which as he pointed out also started at high school and ended up at the fair) and Sarah rolled her eyes every time he started to launch into “You’re the One that I want”. (Which definitely happened more than once).

Megan and Cary, we know it goes without saying but we had SUCH a wonderful afternoon with you guys! Thank you for being so incredibly easy going and just plain fun, we can’t wait to do it all over again at your best day ever!
