The lights twinkled and a soft breeze blew, as he held her close in the middle of the dance floor. And there, slipping between moments of genuine laughter and more quiet embraces he twirled her around the dance floor as they shared their first dance. The music sending words out into the air that perfectly echoed the ones in their hearts, “. . . .you don’t know what it’s like to love somebody the way I love you . . . . . “

Caroline and John are married! After a beautiful ceremony at Corpus Christi Catholic Church the two of them celebrated on the terrace of the Epicurean with their closest family and friends. The palette of the day was kept clean and timeless, with a pop of navy found in the bridal party’s attire, and Caroline looked so ridiculously stunning in a lace-detailed gown. After the newlyweds said their “I Do’s” we all headed over to Ballast Point for a few portraits before going back to the Epicurean to get the party started. And if there was ever a night to have an outdoor reception THIS. WAS. IT! It was so incredibly lovely outside and the light breeze and twinkle lights were the perfect settings for guests to dine on the incredible multi-course menu.

The reception was decorated with tons of wine-themed details, from the bottle centerpieces to the boxes holding guest’s place cards, which perfectly tied in to the overall vibe of the venue. And after sweet toasts from each of their siblings the celebration kicked off with the dances and cake cutting, before everyone hit the dance floor with full bellies and happy hearts! It was such a picture perfect day for two people we couldn’t adore any more
