You can tell when she really, truly laughs. Her nose crinkles up in the most adorable way and her eyes seem to glow with excitement. It’s the kind of laugh that is infectious and the kind of smile that makes you feel it’s warmth. And watching the two of them together, it’s easy to see that the biggest laughs and the widest smiles are saved just for him. With the whisper of a word or the silliness of a face he makes her entire face light up, in a way that lets you know no matter what the two of them face in the future, they will face it with love and laughter . . . .

Amy and Stephen are married, and what a seriously gorgeous day it was! The two of them had an outdoor wedding on Easter Sunday at the always lovely Davis Island Club. After a laughter-filled ceremony guests dined at perfectly set feasting tables beneath the string lights of the garden, before rocking the dance floor and then sending the newlyweds away through a tunnel of sparklers! Amy wore the most beautiful lace dress, with a light blush underlay that had even Ben swooning a little, and we loved that the palette of the day was kept so clean and timeless.
This day truly felt like a labor of love in every way, from the fact that Amy’s dad MADE her engagement ring (as well as a sweet book detailing the process) to their son helping Stephen get ready, to the fact that the band was led by Amy’s close friend. One thing was clear as we witnessed this celebration, and that is that everyone who meets these two loves them wholeheartedly, and this day felt like a perfect celebration of that.
Amy and Stephen, thank you for another wonderful day, and for inviting us along on your wedding journey! We’ve loved getting to spend time with you guys and are so excited for everything this next chapter is going to bring!
