It’s no secret that we always love shooting in new places, and lucky for us that gets to happen at least a few times every wedding season. But *THIS* time of shooting somewhere new was extra special for us, because it was for one of our nearest and dearest friends. We met Samantha back in our college days (which is so hard to believe was TEN years ago) and have been besties ever since. So when she told us she had finally found the guy she wanted to spend forever with, we were of course beyond excited!
We flew up to Chicago for the weekend, and amid the bridal showering and bridesmaid dress shopping squeezed in an afternoon engagement session. The four of us explored some seriously stunning Chicago locations, and even though the weather decided to rain the entire time (REALLY Chicago?!), these two still laughed and cuddled effortlessly. The two of them are perfect for each other, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch them say their I Do’s this Fall!
Sam and Mike, thank you guys for being troopers through this Chicago monsoon! We are so happy to have gotten to do this for you two and hope you love these favorites as much as we loved taking them! Can’t wait for September!
